Project 5

This garden near Buntingford was a tricky one! There were steep uneven steps leading up to the rear garden. A larger terrace was wanted but without the wholesale destruction of all the existing retaining walls. The next picture shows the new steps leading to the lawn.

We enlarged the terrace and paved it with Indian Sandstone. All the walls were rendered which united both the old walls and the new building work. The pale colour made the terrace much lighter.
